Investment Focus
Hinge Ventures is looking to invest in small to mid-sized
services businesses in the U.S. that are profitable and have potential
for long-term growth. We will consider investments in spin-offs or
non-core assets of larger companies as well. We do not invest in
turnarounds or start-ups, and are not interested in high-tech or
venture-type investments.
Specifically, we are interested in:
- Small to mid-sized businesses in the US
- Primarily services businesses
- Companies with a history of profitability and positive cash flow
- Companies with readily identifiable growth opportunities
- Businesses that are not capital intensive
- Companies with a diverse customer base with high retention rates
- Companies with manageable risk – market, technological, regulatory, environmental, legal, etc.
Hinge Ventures seeks investments where a controlling interest
can be acquired. We offer an attractive and lucrative exit strategy to
owners that are interested in retiring. We will collaborate
with existing management and can play an active role in leading the company forward.
